1 lb elbow macaroni*
3 parts Harris Teeter Mayonaise or Kroger Mayonnaise, if using Duke’s add a touch of sugar.
1 part sour cream
1/2 t salt
1 T onion powder
1/2 t fresh ground black. pepper
1/2 t parsley
for 3 parts and 1 part measurements I used a large tablespoon from my flatware set. Not a regular measuring tablespoon. It held more.
if the salad is a bit dry add a little more mayo and sour cream. I used a bit too much pasta and added a touch more.
*as soon as the macaroni goes into the boiling water and begins to boil again, set your timer for 6 minutes.
rinse pasta add ice to stop it’s cooking. Drain.
mix mayo, sour cream and spices in a seperate bowl before adding to pasta.
